The same note is going up at Pokemon Break, too.

Up there is the shortened version of what I had to say. Here is the long version:

*Takes a deep breath* Here goes...
RTR originally started sometime around December of 2007. I drew the first dozen or so pages during band class in high school. Being my first real attempt at a comic I had no idea what I was doing, and I planned nothing. Absolutely nothing. I somehow ended up making it halfway through the third chapter before realizing I had no idea what the comic was really about. That's when I decided to restart.

Before I restarted the comic I came up with a vague idea of a plot and wrote out the first three chapters so I'd have a "script" to follow and so I wouldn't make stuff up as I went like the first time. Better planning this time, but not enough.

During this seven-month-hiatus, I've slowly pieced together a story and finally have most of the story written down, from beginning to end. There's very few bits I haven't worked out yet. And since I've written all this out, I've already noticed that what happens in the few pages I do have here, no longer make sense. The story has changed a bit, and so have the characters. But, restarting this comic a third time? I really didn't want to. So, since Pokemon Break was already at chapter two, and those chapters still made sense to the new plot for the story, I thought I'd just continue there.

Really, the main plot hasn't changed all too much, it's just where I started RTR that makes no sense. This version starts well after Patch starts a team, but the most important parts to the story happen before he starts it. :/ It's really hard to try and explain why this version of the comic is bad without revealing parts of the story... D:

SO! The story will continue at Pokemon Break. And starting with chapter three the real story will begin, and we'll finally get a glimpse of what this comic is actually about. OTL
(I felt like I had more to say about this... but I can't hink of anything right now.....)

Lastly, I'd like to thank everyone who's followed this comic. Your comments are what kept this comic going as long as it did. ^^

Here's a link to Pokemon Break if you'd still like to follow the story:
I'm also going to have this comic removed from the DPCA and see if I can have Pokemon Break listed there in it's place.
